THESE INCLUDE VARIOUS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS, A CLAUSE THAT GOVERNS THE JURISDICTION AND VENUE OF DISPUTES, AND OBLIGATIONS TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

TERMS OF SERVICE
If you are using the Site, Application or Services and you reside in the USA, you are contracting with Airmule, Inc. with respect to use of the Airmule Site, Application or Services with respect to any payments or payouts from or to you conducted through the Site, Application or Services.
The Site, Application and Services are intended solely for persons who are 18 or older. Any access to or use of the Site, Application or Services by anyone under 18 is expressly prohibited. By accessing or using the Site, Application or Services you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.
How the Site, Application and Services Work
The Site, Application and Services can be used to facilitate the listing of air courier services and arranging of and payment for transportation of shipments by couriers. If you wish to list travel plans, you must first register to create an Airmule Account. Senders may only use the platform after applying to be a Sender including, but not limited to submitting their TSA Indirect Air Courier Certification Number or their TSA Known Shipper number.
As stated above, Airmule makes available an online platform or marketplace with related technology for Couriers to list trips and Senders to place shipment orders. Airmule staff or employees, or affiliates are not the Senders.
Members create an account by entering their cell phone number, email address and a password. Couriers may be required to provide a photo of their driver’s license or passport for identity confirmation. Couriers may also be required to provide their Social Security number in order to receive payment to their bank account and for tax purposes. Couriers list their air travel itinerary details and how many checked bags space are available for Courier shipping. Couriers must provide a US Bank account information to receive payment upon delivery. Airmule utilizes Stripe as it’s payment provider.
Courier will receive notification if they have a Shipment at least 6 hours before departure. Airmule staff or contractors will arrange delivery of Shipment to Courier at their departure airport and pickup from destination airport. If Courier is an Airmule Flights Customer they are guaranteed to have a Shipment and are required not to depart without Shipment unless expressed in writing by Airmule.
Couriers can view their income balance at anytime in their account view. Couriers enter a valid U.S. bank account and request a withdrawal at anytime. Funds are usually available within 2 to 3 days of a confirmed delivery.
Couriers are required to be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. citizen or resident, and have a valid U.S. bank account. Couriers may be required to upload a copy of their U.S. issued driver’s license or passport.
Duty and Tax
Senders agrees to declare if the item they are shipping is for commercial purposes or if a duty or tax is due on the item upon entry into a country. If the item requires a duty or tax, Sender is required to pay the entire fees associated with the items. If documentation is required to enter country with item, Sender agrees to provide all documentation necessary.
Courier shall not be responsible for any customs clearance activity unless expressly told prior to accepting Shipment. Courier shall not be held responsible for any duty or tax fees. Airmule contracts with custom brokers when required. Courier is not liable to any Shipments transported into country.
Airmule ensures that all Shipments comply with known foreign entry and duty laws.
As a Courier, you will receive applicable Delivery Fee per checked luggage space as listed on Airmule.com for the route you are servicing. Airmule will process all payments due to you through Stripe, its third party payments processor. Airmule reserves the right to withhold all or a portion of Delivery Fees if it believes that you have attempted to defraud or abuse Airmule or Airmule’s payment systems.
AIRMULE provides insurance up to $300 per shipment. Any shipment that requires insurance over $300 will be subjected to an additional fee. This fee shall be 5% of the IDV. For example purposes, if the IDV of an item is $1000 and a Customer requests to purchase insurance for the entire value of the item, the fee shall be 5% multiplied by the (IDV minus $300). 5% x ($1000 – $300) = $35. The maximum amount of insurance that can be purchased for a Shipment is $6500. Insurance only covers damage or loss while shipment is in AIRMULE’s possession. AIRMULE can not be held responsible* if an airline loses an Item or Shipment, or if Customs takes possession or destroys the shipment. AIRMULE will not be responsible if there is consequential damage that results from the delay, damage or loss of a Shipment. If a Customer has a valid claim, they will receive reimbursement within three to ten (3 ~10) business days. Proof of purchase price is required to receive the full claim.
*In most cases, custom clearance can be very time consuming. Airmule will reimburse the shipment up to 3X of the insurance “fee” to cover the delay shipping cost.
PLEASE NOTE THAT, AS STATED ABOVE, THE SITE, APPLICATION AND SERVICES ARE INTENDED TO BE USED TO FACILITATE COURIERS PROVIDING SHIPPING SERVICES TO SENDERS. AIRMULE SCREENS AND CERTIFIES ALL THE CONTENTS CONTAINED IN PACKAGES AND THE CONDITION, LEGALITY OR SUITABILITY OF ALL ITEMS AND LUGGAGE. AIRMULE SHALL PROVIDE TO COURIER A MANIFEST INCLUDING PHOTOS, DESCRIPTIONS AND VALUES OF ALL SHIPMENTS. COURIERS ARE WELCOME TO INSPECT ALL SHIPMENTS PRIOR TO TRAVEL. COURIER IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE CONTENTS OF ALL THE ITEMS CONTAINED ON THE MANIFEST.
